Sedlak Recognized as a Specialist in Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Consulting

March 7, 2016 Topics: Announcements, News

Sedlak, a long-standing supply chain and distribution logistics advisory firm, has been recognized by Gartner as a specialized supply chain and operations authority in Gartner’s inaugural “Market Guide for Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Consulting.” The guide is designed to help CSCOs and functional supply chain leaders find appropriate industry consultants for their supply chain strategy or operations improvement projects.

Analysts at Gartner, an information technology research and advisory firm, conducted a six-month RFI process to compile the guide. Sedlak was identified as a specialist in supply chain strategy, DC/warehouse design and operations, transportation operations, and third-party logistics, with extensive work in North America. This expertise across supply chain functions was highlighted as a valuable offering:

“Using a consulting firm that has operational competencies as well as supply chain strategy expertise can be advantageous because the strategy, roadmap and recommendations developed during the strategy phase are more likely to be actionable and implementable,” (Gartner Market Guide, 2016).

Gartner also noted that a niche provider like Sedlak can provide the benefits of “specialized expertise and more flexible engagement models” not generally found with broader-based firms.
