Sedlak Congratulates Kara Ashby on 20th Anniversary

October 14, 2016 Topics: Announcements, News

Congratulations to Kara Ashby, Director of Client Services, who celebrates 20 years with Sedlak today. Her major area of expertise is in warehouse management systems (WMS) design, implementation and support. She also has a deep knowledge of logistics and supply chain management processes and technology, supports internal quality improvement initiatives, and ensures project execution and client satisfaction.

“From the time I was 5, I wanted to be a doctor,” Kara says. But a part-time job in the family business after she earned her undergraduate degree changed her course. “I started working with supply chain software – both WMS and WCS (warehouse control systems) – to help run distribution centers…and I fell in love with it!”

She says the people she’s met and the relationships she’s built in the industry – from fork lift operators to CIOs – are priceless. And she loves working directly with clients and helping them improve their businesses and achieve their goals.

“I never knew how big the supply chain was, or how a single individual could make such a big impact,” she says.

Kara is also a soccer mom with two daughters who enjoys spending time with family.

Happy anniversary, Kara, and thank you for 20 years of Delivering Remarkable Experience!
