Automation with Inther Group in the Face of Labor Shortages

July 28, 2021 By: Louis J. Cerny | Topics: IT Solutions, Productivity & Labor

Inther TechnologyThe Sedlak Team was fortunate enough to have Inther Group, an international system integration firm, host a Lunch and Learn session for us recently. Inther Group automates internal logistic processes by integrating manual solutions and mechanized systems. Software created by Inther (Inther LC) plays a major part in the control of these processes. Characteristics typical of Inther’s solutions are a short implementation time, flexibility, reliability and a proven fast payback time.

During the Lunch and Learn session, Inther reviewed their products by offering examples of how each has been used in recent projects. Front and center were their GRIPP, A-frame, GTP (Goods to person), Automated Document Applicator (ADA) and Automated Document Inserter (ADI) technologies.

Inther’s A-frame technology continues to meet the high demands of the pharmaceutical industry. At the center of our Lunch and Learn discussion was a client of theirs, a pharmaceutical wholesaler, for whom Inther created a system of picking and central filling pharmaceutical orders, which has resulted in more productive warehouse workers and better manageability and predictability for clients.

Inther’s GRIPP technology picks product and drops it into a tote or carton. It is a fully automated system, so it requires less manpower. No manual picking is necessary. The lack of labor in the supply chain industry today makes GRIPP an excellent option for distribution centers.

Due to our expertise in AMRs, GTP, AGVs, WES, WCS, LMS and more, Sedlak can help companies successfully partner with an automation provider such as Inther. Sedlak will help you:

  • Weed through the many available automation options in the marketplace today
  • Define the specific requirements needed
  • Identify the most appropriate providers to get competitive bids
  • Help implement the solution
