Supply Chain World: Sedlak Is the Go-To Specialist in Distribution and Consulting

“It's amazing how fast 45 years goes by when you are having fun,” Graves told Janice Hoppe-Spiers. He recounted his start with the firm, which was facilitated by his marriage to the daughter of company founder Joseph Sedlak.
“Sedlak’s daughter, who I met during college, attracted me to the company,” he joked. “By the time I graduated I had married Joseph’s daughter and was planning a career in architecture, but my wife was expecting our first child and Joseph extended a job offer to work for the company.”
He also explained what has differentiated Sedlak from its competitors over nearly six decades, changes in the distribution and logistics industry, and corporate growth strategies in the Winter 2017 issue.
