Sedlak Client Kirkland's Honored with Productivity Achievement Award

(Modern Materials Handling) The 2006 Modern Materials Handling annual Productivity Achievement Awards honored Sedlak client Kirkland’s as one of three companies which made outstanding strides in improving their operations through materials handling and related information systems.

Each company was judged on its ability to deliver top-level customer service, respond rapidly to changing conditions, deliver orders that meet customer requirements, and improve operations.

Sedlak helped position Kirkland’s for the award by integrating multiple distribution centers into a single new facility using appropriate material handling and systems infrastructure, designing and implementing all components of the material handling system and information systems, and meeting the demands of an aggressive schedule. We coordinated all aspects of the material handling and information systems implementation to bring the facility on line—on time and under budget.

Kirkland's received its award during a dinner at the Material Handling Industry of America’s NA06 show and conference in Cleveland, March 27 through 30, 2006.
